Is 'Consortium' the same company as 'The Consortium'?

Yes, Consortium is the new name for The Consortium which is one of the brands owned by RM Resources.

Can I still receive products with the old logo?

No, products with the old logo will be phased out during 2019 and will then no longer be available.

Will all products come with the new logo from February?

No, products with the new logo will start working through our supply chain from early 2019, the exact timing of when products with new logos arrive in deliveries will vary according to the time it takes to work through the supply chain.

Will you be offering samples for the re-branded products?

The products are the same as were sold under the Equality, The Consortium and Value ranges previously so we will not be providing samples

Will the company be changing location?

For the next two years the sites we operate from will remain the same

Will the prices change for the products due to the rebrand?

No, prices will not change due to the rebrand.

No, continue to use the telephone number you already have, or refer to what is listed on our website and documents or in our catalogue.

I have a log in for the West Mercia Supplies website. Can I still use this?

Yes, your website login will move across to the new consortiumeducation.com website.

Where has The Consortium Early Years website gone?

You will now find the fantastic Early Years range on our new website.

Account Management

Can my account manager still do quotes?

Yes, each request will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Will I still have an account manager?

Yes. all schools in the UK will have an account manager.

Will I still have the same account manager

Not necesarily, it will depend on your location.

Do I need to create a new account for Consortium? 

No, we will be contacting customers to review the number of accounts by establishments to agree which one is to be used.

Will my account history be lost? (previous orders etc)

No, not if you choose to keep the same account number.

Finance and Finance Systems

I’m a The Consortium customer, do I need to change anything in the eProcurement Hub?

No, the eProcurement Hub integration with your FMS will continue to work as before.

I’m a WMS customer, do I need to change anything in the eProcurement Hub?

No, the eProcurement Hub integration with your FMS will continue to work as before.

I previously punched in to the West Mercia Supplies website from our procurement system, can I still do this?

You will now need to select Consortium as a supplier to punch into our new website. The new website has all the same features you used on the West Mercia Supplies website.

I previously punched in to The Consortium website from our own procurement system, can I still do this?

Punch in will work as before and you will land in our new website.

Will my previous login details I've used on the old website still work?

Yes, all your old usernames and password have been migrated across to the new website, which has all the same great features you are used to.

Do you still have your price match guarantee? If so, how does it work?

Yes, please see our terms and conditions

Do I still use the same details to pay my invoices?

Yes, you should continue to pay your invoices in the same way.

Is there a cost to setting up eProcurement with PS Financials or RM even if I don't have a service contract?

No, there is no charge for setting this up

Delivery

Will the rebrand affect deliveries?

No, your deliveries will be unaffected. We will update the look of the branding on the boxes but this will be the only change you will see.

Will you still use the same couriers?

Yes, we have no plans to change couriers in the immediate future.

Can we still get free delivery?

Yes. We still offer free delivery on all orders subject to our Terms and Conditions.

Can we still get free next day delivery?

Yes. We still offer free delivery on all orders placed before 2pm via the telephone or online subject to our Terms and Conditions.

Can I still collect my orders from Shrewsbury?

Yes, our site in Shrewsbury remains fully operational as normal.

Catalogues

I haven’t received my WMS catalogues.

We are no longer publishing WMS catalogues, but you will have or will be receiving your new Consortium catalogue that you will be able to order from as before.
